Wow, what an incredible year 2024 has been! As we celebrated three years in business, Alacrity Destination Services continued to grow, deepen our roots in the community, and even launched our first international retreat.

If I were to capture 2024 in one word, it would be evolve. This year has been a journey of transformation...not only for our business but also for us as individuals and as a team.

When we founded Alacrity Destination Services in 2021, I chose the name because “alacrity” means an urgent, cheerful readiness, a spirit I carried into this endeavor. Heart forward, I threw myself into building a business that makes a meaningful impact on our community. But like any new venture, especially one as unique as ours, it’s taken time to refine our vision and find the right rhythm.

Moving into our office space this year was a game changer. It gave us the freedom to expand creatively while bringing intentional focus to our work-life balance. This deliberate dedication to defining our goals, ideal clients, and personal capacities has propelled us forward in ways I couldn’t have imagined.

While I’ve been immersed in Alacrity’s growth, Sam has been busy with his passions, from supporting Sizzles Kitchen and Knoshery to expanding his photography gallery with shoots at Redding Performing Arts Center. He’s fine-tuning his vision for photography services and even launched a new services page on our website! His creativity inspired me to grow my sound healing services, leading to the launch of the Evolved Star Sound page and a YouTube channel. While we’re still exploring what’s next for the channel, I’m excited about the possibilities 2025 will bring.

What began as a personal healing journey with a crystal quartz sound bowl set has blossomed into a full sound practice, incredible event collaborations, and a community I’m deeply honored to serve. As we step into 2025, I’m thrilled to offer short private sound sessions alongside our ongoing Sunday Sound Sessions at LIT From Within, held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 5 PM.

The highlight of 2025 will be our first international retreat in Tulum, Mexico, from May 6–12. Sarah of Strive for Epic and I are beyond excited to guide you in exploring, discovering, and savoring your epic self...in the jungle. As I look ahead, my guiding word for 2025 is synergistic - a commitment to harmonizing strengths, amplifying connections, and blending diverse elements into something extraordinary. This year, I’ll focus on integrating the best of Alacrity Destination Services and Evolved Star Sound to offer a unique, holistic experience that balances logistics and healing, planning and presence.
